Probationers have taken many initiatives for the Children of the SoS Village and they include -
- Teaching and Mentoring Assignments: Many probationers spend their 1-2 hours a day with the children. They not only teach and guide them, but also spend quality time filled with fun and sports which also gives an emotional support to the children. Career guidance, English speaking encouragement and help in studies are specific activities.
- Promotion of Cultural Activities Participation: Performance by the SoS kid at the cultural programs at NACEN is an integral part of strengthening the SoS-NACEN bond and providing an exposure to the kids.
- Need Based Help: Probationers have also garnered resources to fund their needs in form of donating new bicycles, sports kits and so on.
- Other Activities: Many probationers celebrate their birthdays with kids, screen movies in the NACEN Auditorium, organis drawing competitions among other things.
